Abstract

Lord Krishna is a well-known character from Hindu mythology who is loved and worshipped in every Indian household. But, aside from his heavenly position, Lord Krishna can also be seen as an example of an HR executive who had some unique qualities that are relevant in today’s human resource profession. This abstract examines the advantages that HR can derive from Lord Krishna's managerial abilities and philosophies. Lord Krishna is an authoritative leader who also uses participatory techniques. He was an example in his time for managing people and getting the desired task done by them with utmost ownership and honesty and ensuring that everyone in the team must be aware of their roles & responsibilities which is crucial for a successful HR manager. Everybody was aware of his problem-solving & strategic skills which became prominent in the Mahabharata War. The compromise lessons of Lord Krishna are also important for human resources.
